To ensure you don’t select previously read books check the Books Read page from our own website where you can access the list of books previously read by our Group: http://www.onlinedesignmakers.com/cityreaders/html/books_read.html How to order books into Library Stock As far as ordering new books / more copies into the Library, the Library have a stock selection meeting once a month at which they choose from what their Supplier has to offer, and catch most of the new stuff this way. Generally, if it's not something known to them but it looks good, they'll try a few hardbacks and then monitor how well they do before deciding how many paperbacks to buy. In terms of our readers getting messages to the Library about what they'd like, this happens informally - customers will often make suggestions to Library staff which they then pass on the the Stock Team, and also formally through the Inter Library Loans system, in that every title that is requested as an Inter Library Loan is looked at by someone from the Stock team to see if it is something they should consider buying for the library’s stock. There is also an online form to fill in if you want to suggest a book to the library.
